Agustin Andrade, M.D.
SecretaryAgustin A. Andrade M.D., ECNU is a founding member and current secretary of NASOIE. He is the Chief of the endocrinology division and a professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. He is also the President of the Miami Endocrine Association. Dr. Andrade dedicates his practice to the thyroid and parathyroid disorders and perform novel treatments for benign and malignant thyroid nodules.

MemberDr. Sean P. Nikravan, MD, FACE is a board-certified endocrinologist and internal medicine specialist based in Newport Beach, California. He has been providing expert endocrinology care at the Nikravan & Khobrami Thyroid Institute since 2005. Dr. Nikravan and his team specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions involving the endocrine glands, including diabetes, pituitary disorders, thyroid disease, and pediatric growth disease. They are experts at performing in-office thyroid nodule biopsy procedures, having completed more than 50,000 biopsies since 2005. PresidentDr. Shahzad Ahmad is the first endocrinologist to perform an RFA procedure in the USA and has successfully completed over 1000 such procedures with a reported adverse effect profile of less than 0.3%. He also performed the first successful RFA for a toxic thyroid nodule, medullary cancer recurrence, and parathyroid adenoma ever done in North America. Dr. Ahmad is a founding member of NASOIE, and his work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He has a thyroid and parathyroid-focused interventional endocrinology practice in Salt Lake City, Utah.
